Shipping and Delivery

How does shipping and delivery work?

You’ve made an order, the sun is shining and an angelic choir is singing in the background knowing your Anime Gear is on its way – now what?

All items offered on GearAnimeX.com are made-to-order. This means that when you place your order, we need 3 to 5 days to prepare that item/s just for you, one at a time for the best quality!

We work with different artists and manufacturers worldwide. This is the reason for the delivery times below. Keep in mind that that is also the reason we are able to offer such amazing pricing on our products.

All shipments are sent by UPS or DHL, FedEx, Yun Express. The order will be sent to the address you enter at the checkout. The shipping country is chosen at checkout. All prices, currencies, VAT, delivery times and delivery charges will be adjusted depending on the country you would like your items shipped to. We will dispatch the approved orders as quickly as possible and in the order that they have been received. You will receive a tracking link along with your shipment confirmation when your package leaves the warehouse.

What about customs?

We are not responsible for any customs fees once the items have shipped. By purchasing our products, you consent that one or more packages may be shipped to you and may get customs fees when they arrive at your country.

When will I get my order?

Your orders shall be shipped out from our warehouse located at: Asia, China and United States factory.

Please kindly note your order will be processed for stocking, packing, and shipping to your address that you provide to us. We shall commit about delivery time to you as table below:

We process orders on business days which are Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Times, and exclude holidays observed by the Post Office: New Year’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Do you provide tracking information?

Yes, you will receive an email once your order ships that contain your tracking information. If you haven’t received tracking info within 15 business days, please contact us.

Accordion Panel

For some shipping companies, it takes 5-7 business days for the tracking information to update on the system. If your order was placed more than 10 business days ago and there is still no information on your tracking number, please contact us.

Will my items be sent in one package?

For logistical reasons, items in the same purchase will sometimes be sent in separate packages, even if you’ve specified combined shipping.

Will I be charged VAT taxes?

Items shipping internationally from factories in Asia and China are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) and we do not collect VAT (Value Added Taxes). All taxes, duties, and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient of the package.

Depending on the receiving country, your package may incur local customs or VAT charges. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information regarding your country’s customs policies.

As of July 1, 2021, the European Union (EU) will remove the Value Added Tax (VAT) exemption for low-value imported goods (i.e. all goods with a value of up to €22*). As a result, all commercial imports into the EU will be subject to VAT and require a Formal Customs Declaration. Therefore, kindly be informed if your shipping address is located in the EU area:
1. VAT to EU countries is charged in advance
2. Declare prices are usually much lower than the actual price that you bought so that VAT can be the lowest as possible. In case you’re called to make clearance and asked for purchasing invoices by customs (which rarely happens), kindly contact us in advance.

We are just as excited as you are for you to receive your Anime Gear, and we’ve dressed it up for the occasion! Your Anime Gear will be tied up in a beautiful box – we want everyone to feel like their Anime Gear delivery is special, even if it’s a gift to yourself! All Anime Gear come packaged in a branded mailing satchel, so you know exactly what item has turned up on your doorstep.

Are your Anime Gear vegan?

We love our furry friends, and we know you do too! All of Gear Anime X products are made with cruelty-free vegan material.

Is it overpriced?

Oh dear, you can definitely tell the ones who haven’t experienced the Anime Gear themselves yet! We can promise you, the Anime Gear is worth every penny. Gone are the days of shivering in your pajamas with holes in them that you can’t quite justify throwing away – we ensure to source only the best possible materials for our adorable Anime Gear so that they are designed to last! Once you put that soft, marshmallow-y fluff blanket over you, you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk purchase discounts?

Our Gear Anime X are only sold on our online store, so we do not offer wholesale discounts for reselling. If you are looking to make a bulk personal purchase (like for all the mums on the Under 10’s footy team who are shivering on the school sport sidelines) please email us at support@gearanimex.com for more information!

Can I send an order as a gift?

Have a special someone who you think needs an Anime Gear in their life (or just trying to earn some major brownie points)? An Anime Gear is the perfect gift! You can ship an Anime Gear directly to that lucky lad or lady by entering their address as the shipping address, and your own as the billing address. All Anime Gear come automatically wrapped with a beautiful box, plus we don’t include any value invoices inside the bag as any receipts are sent directly to your own email address. It’s that easy!

*Please note: Due to the fact we use external fulfilment partners, we are unable to include messages in the package – we’re sorry! We think sending an Anime Gear is a message of love enough though.

Are you stocked in any stores anywhere?

Nope, it’s just us! Our Anime Gear are only available on our online stores, and we have Anime Gear representatives in all corners of the globe – just make sure you are purchasing from our trusted Anime Gear sites.

I can’t add a product to my cart?

Nobody panic! If you can’t add an item to cart, it may unfortunately be a sold out item. Try your equal-first or second-favourite pattern, otherwise we update our website regularly so that pattern you have your heart set on should be available again and on our website when they will be available again.

Returns and Exchanges

Do you have a returns policy?

Sorry, we know this is the boring legal mumbo-jumbo, but take a minute to have a read of our return policy. We offer free returns for 30 days from date of delivery/receiving of order.

How long do I have to return my Anime Gear?

We know the drill – you’ve been needing to return it, but life gets in the way. We are happy to help you return that one, and offer a 30 day return period for you to make that tough decision! Please refer to our returns policy for more information.

Can I return my order for a refund?

Sadly, we know that sometimes the Anime Gear is just not quite the right fit for some people. You can certainly return your Anime Gear to us for a full refund, provided it is returned within 30 days.

*Please note: Not all items are eligible for return. Any exclusions will be called out on product pages and / or at checkout. All Anime Gear must be returned in as new condition, with the swing tag and bow to be eligible for a return.

Can I exchange my order for a different product?

Another pattern caught your eye? It happens – trust us, our wardrobes are full of them! You can certainly change your product that you ordered.

Do I have to pay for returns?

Focusing on our customer satisfaction is the top of our mission, we always pull out all the stops for bringing the best customer experiences regarding the product & service qualification when doing business with us.

You don’t even need to RETURN your items to us, it will take your valuable time and money. Please we do not want it to happen to our customers

How long does it take for my return/exchange to be processed?

We are working hard behind the scenes to get the Anime Gear in and out of our fulfilment centres. We strongly encourage that you send through a photo of your receipt from the post office as proof your return has been lodged. As soon as we have this information, we can action either your exchange or refund immediately! If you forget to grab this receipt, we will just need to wait until that one gets back to our warehouse before we can go ahead.

How long does it take for my refund to be processed?

We’re sad to see you go! Should you receive a refund for your order, you will receive an email confirming this has been processed from our end. From there, it will take 2-5 business days to process into your account, depending on your bank. If it takes any longer than this, we would recommend contacting your bank or merchant (eg. Afterpay) directly.

How secure is your payment?

All jokes and puns aside – your privacy and security is our highest priority. We use Paypal Payment which is an extremely secure and highly encrypted system designed to protect customers and also hold merchants accountable.

What payment types do you offer?

We accept the good old-fashioned methods of payment, such as credit cards (Visa/Mastercard/American Express) as well as debit cards that can be used for online transactions. If you’re a bit more tech-savvy, we offer Paypal too!

Need a little longer to pay for your Gear Anime X order? We offer Paypal Afterpay payment plans for United States customers only.

How do I use a discount code?

Woo, it’s on sale – so you’re basically saving money (at least, that’s what we tell ourselves when something is on sale). Simply head to the checkout, and on the first page of the checkout there will be a box for you to enter your discount code in – make sure to click ‘Apply’! This is offered before the payment page so you’re totally aware of how much you can save.

What currency is the store in?

All pricing for our store is listed in United States dollars (USD). Still kind of sad that the petition to call them ‘dollary-doos’ didn’t work though…

I have an issue with my order, what can I do?

Something not quite right with your order? Don’t worry, our Gear Anime X team is ready to spring into action! Please contact us to advise of the issue, and to help resolve things quickly we request you include photos so we can help identify what has happened.

I need to cancel or change my order!

These things happen! Please complete the form at our Modify or Cancel Order Center or email us immediately with the subject line CHANGE or CANCEL and we will do our absolute best to carry out your request. If it has already been dispatched from our fulfilment partner you will need to go through our returns process.

As we do our best to get your orders out to you as soon as we can, occasionally an order will be processed before the team has a chance to change it. We cannot guarantee a change of order after the order is placed so please select your items carefully.

How do I contact you?

Gone are the days of carrier pigeons and smoke signals – emailing us is the way to go! Our email contact is support@gearanimex.com. This also allows us to keep a paper trail for your issue so we can help you as best we can. We answer emails from New York to Texas, so we can sometimes have some slight delays in response time. We’re only human, so please be patient and we are working as quickly as possible to get back to you. We promise we won’t leave you on ‘read’!
